SHINEDOWN To Perform On 'Live With Kelly And Ryan'

January 9, 2019

SHINEDOWN will perform its uplifting anthem "Get Up" for the first time on national television on January 23 on the top morning talk show "Live With Kelly And Ryan". Check your local listings for air time.

The band has also been nominated for two iHeart Radio Music Awards, including "Rock Song Of The Year" for No. 1 Active Rock hit "Devil" and "Rock Artist Of The Year". The event will air on Fox on March 14, broadcasted live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The No. 1 Active Rock and Top 25 Alternative hit "Get Up", which has amassed more than 25 million total streams, has been galvanizing listeners around the globe with its offer of hope, empathy and encouragement in the face of personal struggles, whatever they may be. The powerful song speaks to the human spirit in a time of need, something that frontman Brent Smith is deeply connected to after battling his own personal demons. "Get Up" became a light in the darkness, born out of /b>Brent watching his friend, SHINEDOWN bassist Eric Bass, deal with clinical depression. When Brent put pen to paper, a beautiful, universal song rooted in Brent and Eric's raw vulnerability took shape. Reaching far beyond any genre or label, "Get Up" quickly began resonating, soundtracking "Today"'s look back at 2018, breaking a new record for SHINEDOWN by giving the band the most Rock Airplay Top 10s ever and their 13th No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart (the second most in the history of the chart, tied with VAN HALEN),and becoming a fan favorite at arena shows on tour where the crowd response is palpable.

SHINEDOWN will kick off its 2019 "Attention Attention" world tour on February 20 in Estero, Florida at Hertz Arena, which will see the band pack arenas backed by their biggest, most eye-popping production yet. Amidst the tour, the band will kick off an intimate, limited run of shows for "An Evening With Shinedown" on May 6 in New Orleans with back-to-back nights in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and Nashville. The announcement of these special shows, which will offer fans a more up-close-and-personal live experience, follows the high ticket demand to their three year-end shows last month at the House of Blues in Orlando where they blew fans' minds with a surprise performance of "The Sound Of Madness" in its entirety to mark the 10-year anniversary of the album on night one, a part acoustic/part electric show on night two, and a fan-curated set list for night three.
